Matthew Edmonds, the winner of the Wales marathon 2012 and the new record holder has confirmed he will return to attempt to become the first ever athlete to defend the Wales Marathon title successfully.
After breaking the course record last year and sending the Grandstands into a frenzy, Matt dropped to his knee and proposed to Vicky. They are to be married in June this year.
Here is a little taste of last years antics! And don’t forget to book into the post race party. Band line up to be released in feb! Families and supporters all welcome!
